Venezuelan writer born in Caracas in 1960, studied at the Colegio Humboldt of his city as in the Colegio San Pablo-CEU in Madrid, Spain. He earned a Literature B.A. at the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas and got a master’s degree in Political Science at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Now he is a candidate por a Ph.D. in History at the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello. He has published the novels La advertencia del ciudadano Norton (Editorial Alfa, 2010),Con la urbe al cuello (Alfaguara, 2005, 2006. Sudaquia, 2012) and Viernes a eso de las nueve (Fuentes Editores, 1992), the historical studies La revolución Libertadora (Banco de Venezuela, 1990), Golpe de Estado Venezuela 1945-1948 (Editorial Panapo, 1994), the books of essays Camino de humores (Fundarte, 1998), Lecturas y deslecturas (Universidad Metropolitana, 2009), and Bush en Playa Parguito (Editorial Pila 21,2018). He also published the books of mini short stories 200 breves (Oscar Todtmann Editores, 2015) and Ciento breve (Fundación para la Cultura Urbana, 2004); a book of interviews Alemania y Venezuela 20 testimonios (Fundación para la Cultura Urbana, 2005). In 1997 he earned a Special Mention of the 52 Annual Short Story Competition of the Venezuelan newspaper El Nacional. He has been coauthor, prologuer, publisher and editor of several publications. As a writer in newspapers he has done so in Venezuela’s major newspapers, most notably El Diario de Caracas, El Universal and El Nacional. Now he publishes in @Zendalibros and @Prodavinci He is a Professor of History and Literature at the Universidad Metropolitana of Caracas. He was president of the Asociación Cultural Humboldt in Venezuela and now he presides the Venezuelan Chapter of the Club of Rome as well as being member of the Board and the Executive Committee of the Centro Venezolano Americano.
